What this book
might hold.
The following is original concept copy for a fictional book. It is not a synopsis, review or extract from an existing publication.
First light
Notes on the beginning of a season: an empty page, a path walked often, and the small signs that something is changing.
In the middle of things
A set of imagined observations about everyday garden work, waiting, repetition and the different ways a place can look from one month to the next.
What remains
A final collection of reflections on keeping a notebook: what gets written down, what gets forgotten and what is worth returning to.
