Look closely.
Make considered changes.

We’re interested in the way a place is lived in —
from the first sketch to the handle on a door.

A close view of white architectural frames and glazing

A practice at
different scales.

Fieldwork is imagined as a small architecture and interiors studio, working on homes, adaptive spaces, and the rooms within them.

We keep the conversation direct. Drawings, models and samples help make decisions visible, so a client can understand what is changing and why.

This demonstration does not describe a real practice or registered architects. Replace the sample identity and service information before use.

From a question
to a place.

  1. Listen & look

Talk through the brief, visit the site, review the existing building, and establish priorities before drawing a proposal.

  2. Test & refine

Compare a small number of options. Consider light, movement, storage and the implications of each choice.

  3. Coordinate the detail

Develop the selected approach with the people responsible for structure, services, permissions and construction.

  4. Stay in the conversation

Review decisions as the project develops. Agree the scope of involvement and responsibilities from the outset.
