Quality & production process

Make the decisions traceable.

A clear production route connects the requirements, the review and the record of what was agreed.

01

Initial conversation

Describe the component, material and work you want to discuss. Identify requested quantities and any timing preference without sending technical files.

02

Requirements review

Confirm the drawing revision, material specification and operations to be reviewed. Keep unresolved questions on a shared list before accepting the scope.

03

Written scope

Record the included work, exclusions, supply responsibilities and approval route. A quotation should identify its assumptions and how a change will be handled.

04

Production planning

A real supplier confirms the route, availability and any external operations against the agreed requirements. The website does not schedule production.

05

Review & handover

Agree the inspection records, identification and packaging needed for the job. Confirm who reviews the supplied documentation and how questions will be resolved.

Review before commitment

A requirement should have an owner.

The customer or their designer defines the intended performance and design requirements. A manufacturing supplier reviews the proposed work within its actual competence and agreed scope.

If a component requires regulatory approval, specialist testing or certified processes, establish those requirements and verify the supplier's documented scope before placing an order. This fictional business makes no accreditation claims.
