A cut, a finish, a conversation.

Time to discuss the shape and agree the next step.

Cutting services

Talk about the shape before the cut.

A cut-and-finish appointment gives time to discuss the shape you have in mind and the amount of change you want to consider. Ask the salon how it will approach the consultation, cutting and finish.

The sample service includes a wash, cut and styled finish. A longer restyle has a separate example duration so that a more involved change has time set aside.

The shape of the appointment

  1. Discuss the idea. Talk through the shape, what you would like to keep and the change you want to explore.
  2. Agree the appointment. Confirm the proposed scope, estimated time and price before work begins.
  3. Choose the finish. Ask how the agreed finish is included and discuss any practical questions before leaving.

What the sample prices mean

Cut & finish is shown from £68 for 60 minutes. A change of shape is shown from £84 for 90 minutes. Both include wash and finish in this fictional menu.

A longer appointment?

Ask the salon whether your idea needs a longer session or a separate consultation. The final time and price depend on the actual service agreed.
