Start with the information available.

A useful service enquiry identifies the vehicle and what you want to discuss. The workshop can then explain what information it needs and how it will decide the proposed scope.

There is no universal service schedule in this template. Ask the real provider to consider the vehicle information, relevant manufacturer guidance, service records and the way the vehicle is used.

Questions for the workshop.

  1. What is the proposed scope?

Ask which work is included, which items depend on the vehicle and what is outside the quoted visit. A package name alone may not explain this.

  2. What is the price based on?

Confirm how labour, parts, materials, assessment time and any applicable charges are presented. Ask how changes will be discussed before work is added.

  3. How will approval work?

Agree who can authorise additional work and how the workshop will contact you. The website enquiry is not an instruction to start repairs.

  4. What happens at collection?

Ask for an explanation of the agreed work and the record provided. Confirm collection arrangements directly with the workshop.

Separate arrangements to discuss.

Repair work, specialist assessment, manufacturer-specific requirements, parts availability, transport and any collection service may need a separate agreement. No workshop capability, warranty or outcome is implied by the sample website.

Bring questions, not assumptions.

If you have an existing record or a specific request, tell the workshop before the visit. Ask what to bring through its agreed process. Do not send identification or private documents through this demonstration enquiry.
