A practical starting point

Planning a roofing enquiry

A few things to consider before you choose, visit or send an enquiry.

01

What to include in a roofing enquiry

Note the property type, covering if known, issue noticed and previous repair history. Include practical access restrictions and any existing reports. Photographs are helpful only when they can be taken safely from the ground.

02

Reading a proposed scope

Check the work area, materials, access equipment, waste arrangements and exclusions. Ask how additional findings will be reported and agreed, and who will coordinate access to the property.

Before you get in touch

Useful questions.

Can you quote from a photograph?

A photograph can help us understand an enquiry. An agreed price may still require an assessment, measurements and confirmation of access and concealed-condition exclusions.

What happens after I make an enquiry?

We review the information available and discuss the appropriate next step. A visit, its scope and any associated charge must be agreed before attendance.

Should I climb up to take photographs?

No. Send existing records or photographs taken safely from the ground. We will discuss how any closer assessment can be arranged.
