About Bramble Flowers

Bramble Flowers is a ten-page florist template with a classic shop masthead, soft flower photography and locally served Bramble Serif/Sans OFL derivatives. A collection, one complete bouquet detail, wedding and weekly-flower pages give visitors distinct enquiry routes. Prices and size choices are explicitly illustrative rather than a live shop.

Best suited to: Independent florists and small flower studios presenting arrangement concepts, wedding enquiries, regular flowers and practical visit information.

What’s in the design

  • The collection contains four arrangement concepts. Category and text controls combine, accept allowed category/search queries and provide count, empty state and reset. Two concepts are seasonal, one for home and one for an occasion.
  • Seasonal Bouquet is a complete product detail with three sample size choices: Small £36, Classic £52 and Generous £72. Prices describe bouquet concepts, not fixed stem recipes or current stock. Three other collection entries route to enquiries.
  • Wedding Flowers and Weekly Flowers have dedicated scope pages. Visitors can ask about an event or recurring arrangement without placing an order or accepting a subscription.
  • The gallery contains four licensed illustrative arrangements in a native modal viewer with Previous/Next, arrow keys, Escape and focus return. Direct image links remain usable without JavaScript.
  • Our Studio and Visit & Delivery separate the fictional studio approach from sample opening, collection and delivery information. Actual boundaries, dates, charges and access require confirmation.
  • Contact supports allowed interest and seasonal-bouquet size preselection, a strictly future preferred date and collection/delivery/to-discuss preference. Required name/email use native validation; the brief is optional.

How florist enquiries work

The website prepares an encoded mailto draft; visitors review it in their email app and choose whether to send. It does not receive payment, allocate stock, confirm a delivery date or place an order. Replace [email protected] before publishing.

Interest and size query parameters accept included values only. The preferred date must be later than the visitor’s current local day when submitted with JavaScript. A preference remains subject to the actual florist’s response.

The sample photographs depict independently photographed arrangements. They must not be described as Bramble’s completed work, available stem combinations or promised event designs.

Set up the Astro edition

Extract the source ZIP and run these commands from its folder:

npm ci
npm run dev
npm run check
npm run build

The build produces a dist/ folder for static hosting. The source includes its shared template kit under vendor/template-kit, so it builds independently of our development workspace. Astro 7.4.4 and the Astro checker 0.9.12 are pinned; TypeScript 6.0.3 is the latest supported by that checker’s declared peer range.

Before you launch

  • Choose HTML for direct file editing, or Astro for shared layouts and source-driven content.
  • Replace arrangement concepts, price bases, delivery/collection details, hours, address and service scopes with accurate florist information. Use photographs you may license without implying fabricated own work.
  • Edit product, size, interest and gallery records in src/site.ts. Keep IDs aligned with Contact options. Test category/text/reset, bouquet choices, modal keys, preselection and preferred date validation.
  • Replace imagery with licensed content. Keep responsive variants, intrinsic dimensions, alt text and ASSETS.md credits aligned.
  • Set PUBLIC_SITE_URL to the real domain/folder URL with a trailing slash for canonical/social metadata, robots.txt and a 9-page sitemap. Leave PUBLIC_PREVIEW unset for production.
  • Upload the entire HTML folder or Astro dist/. Configure unknown paths to return 404.html with HTTP 404. Test enquiries or configure a separately tested delivery route if direct sending is required.

A static florist catalogue with no cart, checkout, live stock, flower availability, payment, subscription management, confirmed event service, delivery tracking or message-delivery backend.

Release verification

The page inventory and screenshots document the included layouts. The HTML and independent Astro editions contain the same design, local assets and license notices. Build, browser and laboratory-audit evidence is kept with the release source. Automated scores do not establish complete accessibility compliance or guarantee performance after customization.
