About Cadence Music School
Cadence Music School is a ten-page music-tuition template with a conventional school masthead, warm paper/plum identity and locally served Cadence Serif/Sans derivatives. Instrument imagery, a combined lesson finder and three full instrument pages support a useful first conversation. Sample tuition amounts show their lengths and per-learner units; a preparation page and adult/guardian enquiry complete the structure.
Best suited to: Independent music schools and small teaching studios presenting introductory piano, guitar and voice lesson formats.

What’s in the design
- Lessons contains three illustrative instrument records: piano, guitar and voice. Instrument, beginner/returning experience and one-to-one/small-group controls combine with allowed queries, count, reset and empty state.
- Piano, Guitar and Voice each have a full detail page explaining the sample audience, topics, included teaching scope and exclusions. Voice is a beginner small-group example; not every instrument/format combination is offered.
- Tuition presents four explicit sample GBP units: piano £28/30-minute private lesson, guitar £32/45-minute private lesson, guitar £16/60-minute group lesson and voice £18/60-minute group lesson, each per learner.
- The captioned tuition table also lists four-lesson totals of £112, £128, £64 and £72 respectively. These are simple four-times examples, not a discount or confirmed term; sample groups are up to six learners.
- First Lesson has eight temporary preparation questions with checked count, clear action, print behaviour and native FAQs. Practical questions cover instruments, arrival, fees and terms rather than promising learning outcomes.
- Contact supports an adult enquiring for themselves or as a parent/guardian, allowed instrument preselection and a format preference. It requests adult contact information and a general question, not child records or health information.

How music school enquiries work
The contact form creates an encoded mailto draft for review in the visitor’s email app. Nothing is sent, stored, enrolled, paid or scheduled by this website. Replace [email protected] before publishing.
An instrument and format preference are requests only. The school must confirm the actual programme, suitability, teacher, dates, price units, equipment and terms separately.
Temporary preparation ticks remain on the current page and can be cleared or printed. There is no child profile, teacher-matching system, progress prediction, exam-entry function or sensitive learner intake.
Set up the Astro edition
Extract the source ZIP and run these commands from its folder:
npm ci
npm run dev
npm run check
npm run build
The build produces a dist/ folder for static hosting. The source includes its shared template kit under vendor/template-kit, so it builds independently of our development workspace. Astro 7.4.4 and the Astro checker 0.9.12 are pinned; TypeScript 6.0.3 is the latest supported by that checker’s declared peer range.
Before you launch
- Choose HTML for direct file editing, or Astro for shared layouts and source-driven content.
- Replace lesson formats, teacher facts, tuition units, dates, location, terms and practical arrangements with verified school information. Keep child and sensitive personal records outside the general enquiry.
- Edit lesson records, checklist and FAQ content in src/site.ts. Keep detail pages, instrument/experience/format values and Contact options aligned. Verify combined finder empty/reset, print, checklist and preselection.
- Replace imagery with licensed content. Keep responsive variants, intrinsic dimensions, alt text and ASSETS.md credits aligned.
- Set PUBLIC_SITE_URL to the real domain/folder URL with a trailing slash for canonical/social metadata, robots.txt and a 9-page sitemap. Leave PUBLIC_PREVIEW unset for production.
- Upload the entire HTML folder or Astro dist/. Configure unknown paths to return 404.html with HTTP 404. Test enquiries or configure a separately tested delivery route if direct sending is required.
A static tuition website without live enrolment, teacher availability/matching, payment, child profiles, sensitive learner records, health assessment, instrument hire, exam entry, qualifications or guaranteed progress and message-delivery backend.
