How we work
A clear four-stage conversation: describe a requirement, clarify a visit, agree the scope and keep a useful record of what happens next.
- 01
Describe the requirement
Use a short description, broad area and the service topic that fits best. Explain whether you are the owner, tenant, managing agent or business contact.
There is no need to know a technical cause. The initial enquiry gathers useful context rather than diagnosing a fault.
- 02
Clarify the visit
Confirm coverage, suitable scope, a possible time and what access or information may be needed. Ask about assessment charges before agreeing a visit.
- 03
Agree the scope
Ask for a clear written description of the proposed work, labour, parts and exclusions. Establish who approves changes and how any additional cost is agreed.
- 04
Keep a useful record
Retain the agreed work record, relevant equipment information and follow-up contact details. Ask the actual operator to explain any care or next-step information.
Questions are part of the process.
Scope, timing, access, payment responsibility and follow-up arrangements should be understandable before work is approved. If a detail is unclear, put it on the list to discuss.
