What to discuss.

This page sets out a general enquiry scope, not instructions for diagnosing or carrying out a repair.

The fixture or room

Name the tap, basin, sink, waste or other fixture you want to discuss. Explain the intended result and what you have observed in plain language.

The proposed visit

Ask whether an assessment is needed, what access will be required and whether any assessment charge applies. Confirm the arrangement directly.

Repair or replacement

The operator needs to establish appropriate options. Discuss compatibility, parts availability and who supplies any replacement item before approving work.

Agree the boundaries.
