A day with room to unfold.
Start with the main moments. Then make the time between them work for everyone.
The sequence
A planning outline, not a fixed timetable.
Welcome
Agree guest arrival, directions and a place to gather. Allow time for access arrangements and the practical things people need after a journey.
The occasion
Confirm the type of ceremony or celebration, the space, seating and who is responsible for each part. Any legal ceremony permissions require separate verification.
Time together
Plan drinks, photographs and a weather alternative. Let guests know where to go while a room is being changed or suppliers are preparing.
A shared table
Work through table numbers, the catering plan and speeches with the people responsible. Keep private guest dietary records in an appropriate process outside a general enquiry.
Evening & departure
Agree music and finish times, transport, collections and clear-down responsibilities. Leave the last part of the day as clearly planned as the first.
Working together
Keep one agreed plan.
Record the space allocation, key timings, supplier contacts and responsibilities with the venue. When a detail changes, confirm who needs to know and which document is current.
