Home moves, room by room.
Plan a house or flat move around the belongings, access and timing, with clear packing choices and responsibilities.

Begin with the rooms you use.
Walk through each room and list the furniture, packed boxes and loose items that need to travel. Include the loft, garage, shed or balcony if they are part of the move. Identify items being sold, donated or left behind.
Look at both doorways.
Tell the operator about stairs, lift sizes, shared corridors, distance from the vehicle and any restricted arrival times at both properties. Large furniture may need a separate discussion about measurements and dismantling.
Discuss in the scope
- Collection and delivery areas
- Room-by-room inventory
- Packing and protection choices
- Agreed destination rooms
Agree separately
- Appliance disconnection and fitting
- Dismantling and reassembly
- Unusual or high-value items
- Storage and waiting time
Keep an essentials bag with you.
Set aside the keys, documents and everyday items you will need before boxes are unpacked. Decide what you will carry personally and make that clear during the inventory conversation.
