Compare full and part packing, materials and storage arrangements before deciding what belongs in your removal scope.

PACKING OPTIONS

Choose where you need a hand.

You may want to pack everyday belongings yourself and ask for help with selected rooms or items. Or you may prefer to discuss a complete packing arrangement.

Identify what is to be packed, what materials are needed, who labels each box and whether unpacking or packaging collection is part of the work. Ask about items that cannot be accepted before preparing them.

Discuss packing help →

Pack yourself

Confirm materials and handling requirements. Agree how boxes should be labelled and when everything needs to be ready.

Part packing

Specify the rooms or items you want help with. Separate them from belongings you are packing or carrying yourself.

Full packing

Ask about survey requirements, packing timing, materials, access and what is excluded. Confirm who will unpack at the other end.

BETWEEN ADDRESSES

When collection and delivery are different days.

A storage arrangement needs its own clear scope. Ask how the inventory will be recorded, when collection can take place, whether access during storage is available and how redelivery is arranged.

Questions for the storage discussion

  • What volume and storage period are being quoted?
  • How are items listed, labelled and identified?
  • What are the access arrangements and charges?
  • What restrictions apply to stored contents?
  • How much notice is needed for redelivery?
  • What terms, cover and additional charges apply?

Storage availability, security arrangements and environmental conditions must be confirmed by the actual operator. This demonstration makes no verified facility claim.
